Spark AI February Updates: Alerts, BESS & Data Center Sentiment, Permit Matrix

🔔 Automated Alerts

Our biggest launch of the month was Automated Alerts. When you generate a Spark Report, you can now enable alerts on that location. Spark continuously monitors the data and notifies you when something changes — a zoning code update, a new moratorium, a shift in community sentiment. Catch issues before they become problems.

🗾 Heatmaps by Project Type

Sentiment Heatmaps now let you filter by technology type — solar, BESS, and data centers. A location that's hostile to storage may be perfectly receptive to solar. Now you can see the difference at a glance.

👀 Bulk Screen All Counties in a State

Our bulk screening tool now lets you instantly select all counties in a state and filter by project category (solar, BESS, data center) — making state-level screening faster than ever.

📝 In-App Permit Matrix Requests

Request a permit matrix with one click. Our permitting experts leverage Spark to deliver a completed matrix in under 2 weeks — the same quality that typically costs customers $5-10k+ in consulting fees.
