Your monthly product roundup for June 2026
Hi Sparkers,
Happy July! This summer has been an active one for Spark, and we’re only getting started!
Some of the biggest updates:
📢 Sentiment Details
Everyone knows that opposition has been strengthening, not just for data centers, but for solar and storage, too. Now with Spark, you don’t just see the where; you also see the why. Sentiment Heatmaps now show detailed reports of on-the-ground sentiment for every county in the US, available in a single click.

Stop scrolling through posts and start understanding the opposition.
🚨 Local News Alerts
Spark’s Alerts quickly became a hit feature to stay up-to-date on project filings, moratorium discussions, and decisions. This June, Spark supercharged Alerts by adding notifications for local news:

And being the first to know pays off. This month, one Spark user was en route to a permit hearing when they received an alert about a highly contentious hearing the day before. A viral Facebook post had packed the room with protestors, and tensions were still running high. Sitting in the parking lot, they got up to speed on everything they'd missed and walked in ready. Their words: Spark "saved the day."
📝 Source Citations
